ANS College Jehanabad is a very good and prestigious college which is known for its higher education. It provides higher education and also focuses on their intellectual development. ANS College was opened with the effort of Late Shri Shyam Narayan Singh in 1983. The aim of this college was to provide education to every household. This college was opened with the help of Late Shri Shyam Narayan. Late Shri Shyam Narayan Singh was a very good person. He was a socialre formers & visinoryleader . He was born on 1901 in Nalanda District. Late Shri Shyam Narayan Singh was very proficient in studies. He always stood first in his class. He was also a member of the Constituent Assembly of India and was chosen to write the Constitution of India. He also held charge of many departments including Labor, Local Self Government, Public Works, Supply and Price Control, Health and Agriculture. He became a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi during the independence movement and also worked with Dr. Rajendra Prasad to lead the Gandhian movement in Bihar. He was elected a member of the Central Council in 1935 from Shahabad-cum-Patna constituency by a huge margin.
